An author's purpose for entermainment would be a fictional piece.
if you want to tell if the authors purpose is to entertain, it wll have a plot,setting,and charecters.
It has to be fiction have characters,plot,and a setting.
Authors purpose has 3 things it could be, purswade, inform , & entertain. If an author is trying to purswade you, he will tell you cool facts about it. If an author is trying to inform you they will give you facts. If an author is trying to entertain you there will be characters, setting, plot, & it would be fictional.
We would knom lf the author's purpose is to entertain because it's fiction,has a plot,characters, and to get you to feel emotions.
It would have a plot.there not trying to sell you something or imforming you about facts and it would be fiction and characters,pictures.

To know if an author is entertaining you it would have charecters and it will make you sad,mad,happy,and other emotions. It would be fictional and it won't give you facts or try to make do something or sell you something.

The 3 author's purposes are to inform, to give facts, persuade, to tell people to do something, and to Entertain, to have emotions like happy or sad.
You look to see if the charitars do things that are impossible.

It was eazy to tell if it was entertain cause it would tell a story that was not persuasive or informational.
We think its entertan beacause its not telling use to do somthing and its not telling use stuff it noes a lot about.

The athor's purpose is about to inform,entertan,and purswade. Entertan means to tell a joke or make someone sad,happy,and sared. Inform means to give you facts. Purswade means to give you cool facts to do in real life.

All author's purpose are to inform, perswade and entertain. The author is telling us that we can perswade, entertain and inform others.
